You have the book. You have the expertise, the credentials, and the track record that comes from doing the real work over years.
And your online presence has not kept up with any of that. Publishers, podcast producers, and event organisers google you and find something that does not match the person they just heard on stage. You are asked for a media kit, a speaking page, or a bio link, and you are pulling something together in a rush every time, because there is no proper home for any of it.
Your book exists on Amazon, where you have no say in how it is presented, who finds it, or what sits next to it on the page. The platform that should be opening doors for speaking gigs, media features, and reader relationships is not doing any of those things. And you avoid sharing your website because it does not reflect the level you are actually operating at.
Your credibility is real. Your online presence should be making that obvious.
When your author platform matches your credibility, things actually start to change.
Publishers, podcast hosts, and event organisers find everything they need on one page, without you sending a separate PDF every time
Readers who finish your book have somewhere to go. A mailing list, a speaking page, your next offer, the next chapter of the relationship
Your website does the positioning work you have been doing manually in every pitch email and intro conversation
Sending someone to your website stops being something you brace for
That is what Violette is built to do.
Why Violette?
Violette is built around what publishers actually want to see in their authors' websites. Every page is designed for the work an author platform genuinely has to do: selling the book, getting you booked to speak, and running a launch with a real team behind it.
The launch partners page is the clearest example. It gives you a ready-made way to recruit your launch team, with a save-the-date, a guide to what you need from your partners, and a sign-up form. Some publishers run their authors' launches exactly this way, and almost every other template leaves you building it from scratch in the week you can least afford to.
The speaking page does the same job for your media kit, holding your topics, bio, press photos, and podcast playlist where an organiser can find them. And the about page holds both sides of you, the author and the business, without either one crowding the other out.
It runs on WordPress and Divi, so everything is yours to change, with video training and personal support behind you.
What changes when your website catches up
What most authors are working around, and what it looks like once you're not.
Before Violette
- Your book lives on Amazon and you have no say in how it is presented or who finds it
- Podcast hosts and event organisers ask for your media kit and you piece something together in a rush, every time
- You are an author, a coach, and a speaker, and your website only knows about one of those
- Your online presence does not reflect the credibility you have built through your writing and your career
- Readers who finish the book have nowhere to go next. No mailing list, no speaking page, no way to stay connected
- You avoid sharing your website because it does not look like the level you are at
After Violette
- An author platform that positions you the way you already position yourself in person
- A speaking page and media kit in one. Everything an event organiser or podcast producer needs to say yes
- All of you in one place, so a coaching client, a publisher, and a podcast producer each find what they came for
- A site that matches the person people meet on stage and on the page
- Readers find your book, your story, and your next steps all in one place
- You share your URL with publishers, podcasters, and readers knowing it represents you properly
What's inside
Homepage
Your book, your name, your authority. A striking hero, your book with purchase links, reader testimonials, an about-the-author section, and a free chapter opt-in. Writing more than one? There is a dedicated section for showcasing your other titles, with a toggle to hide it while you are a single-book author and switch it on when you are not.
About page
Your story told properly. A personal bio, a pull quote, space for your coaching or consulting work alongside your author identity, and a personal note section. For authors who are more than just authors.
Book page
A full book sales page, not a listing. Hero with book cover and reader quotes, purchase buttons for multiple retailers, a detailed description with lifestyle imagery, reader testimonials, and a free chapter opt-in. Duplicate it for every title in your catalogue.
Speaking page
Your speaker one-sheet and media kit combined. Speaker bio, numbered speaking topics, a "featured speaker at" logo bar, downloadable bio and press photos, an embedded podcast playlist, and a booking CTA. Everything an event organiser needs on a single page.
Launch partners page
A page for recruiting your book launch team, with a matching thank you page for everyone who signs up. Save-the-date, book cover and description, a clear guide for your partners, and a sign-up form. Included because it is how some publishers run their authors' book launches, and most templates leave you building it from scratch.
Also included:
- A contact page with enquiry form and social links.
- A complete freebie opt-in flow: opt-in page, confirmation page, and thank you page with space for a personal welcome video.
- A designed 404 page, so a broken link keeps readers in your world instead of losing them.
Included page designs
Violette is designed around the pages you need as an author. Here's what you get.

Everything that comes with your purchase
Your investment includes more than the template pages themselves.
Video training library in the Learning Academy
Step-by-step video training for every page in the template, plus a full set of Divi setup videos covering theme options, style presets, global variables, and the other settings you work through once and never need to think about again. Structured training you move through at your own pace, hosted in the Learning Academy and available any time.
Realistic demo content
Every page ships with realistic placeholder copy written specifically for the template, not lorem ipsum. You can see exactly how the template is meant to be used, and you have a model to work from when you write your own content. No guesswork about what goes where or how long it should be.
Ongoing personalised email support
Me, answering your questions directly, with personalised video walkthroughs when you need them. If you get stuck, you have the designer who built the template in your corner.
When it comes to building your author website, you’ve got a few options
Custom author website
Starting at €7,500. A unique design with personal strategy, built around your book, your brand, and your goals. The right choice if the budget and timeline allow.
DIY blog theme
Around €150 to €250. Not designed with authors in mind, which usually means working around limitations that were never built for your needs. A speaking page, media kit layout, and book sales page are typically not included.
My author template
€600. Built specifically for authors, with book, speaking, media kit, and launch partner pages included. Professional design, personal support, and training to get your site live.
Who Violette is designed for
Violette was designed for the author who's also a business owner. You've got a book out or on the way, coaching or consulting running alongside it, and a speaking and media presence you're actively building. The pages included reflect that reality. A book that needs selling, a speaking career that needs a media kit, and a book launch that needs a team.
You're on WordPress and Divi, or ready to be, and you want your site live in days rather than months.
If that's not quite you, that's still ok. Every template is completely adaptable to make it your own. The images, the colours, the fonts, and the content are all yours to change. There are more fit questions answered below, and you can always email me before you buy.
Payment options
Choose the option that works for you:
Pay in Full
One payment of €600

Two payments of €300

Hey, I'm Rachel
I've been making and selling things since I was eight. Sunday craft markets in rural Australia with my sister, candles and cards laid out on our little table. From there it went to made-to-order jewellery, then designing swimwear, then packaging and graphic design. Designing and building is genuinely the bit I love. The bonus at the end of it is someone seeing the finished thing and knowing it's theirs, that it works and it feels like them.
These days I design websites and course portals for coaches, educators, and authors from a country house in rural France, with an Australian Shepherd under my feet and my daughter Chloé being all Miss Independent somewhere nearby.
I specialise in WordPress, Divi, and AccessAlly, and after more than ten years designing sites I'm one of very few certified AccessAlly experts worldwide.
I built these templates because I kept meeting talented business owners whose websites were the one thing not keeping up with them. Not ready for a full custom project, but deserving of something far better than a generic theme. I design templates with the same strategic thinking I put into my custom builds, and you'll have training videos and personal support every step of the way.
